About Louise Welcome
I am based in West Sussex and live for the chance to slow down behind the camera in beautiful places. Travel and photography balance the frenetic pace of normal life, and being forced to live in the moment, noticing changes in light and colour, is the perfect counterpoint to any day job.
So landscapes are my thing; intimate or vast. Having experienced the overwhelming enormities of Borneo and Namibia while trying to get an original image, I'm looking at the opportunities I have to explore here in the South of the UK. Places I have taken for granted and ignored without a camera, take on a new emphasis now that I have it with me.I just wish I'd had a good camera in my backpack when I travelled for a year in my 30s.
I share with you a few images from my travels and hope you enjoy them.
